    A Spring Break Career-Readiness Seminar for collegiate Juniors and Seniors 

     
  •  Available to college students ages 21 and up who are in their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies;
  •  Topics: networking, mock interviews, job search techniques, dress for success, internships, & business dining etiquette;
  •  Ports of Call: Cienfuegos and Havana, Cuba (2 days) & Grand Cayman (1 day);
  •  Seminars: 2 days at sea sponsored by National Employment Counseling Association.

SEMINAR SCHEDULE (Tentative)

  • Monday –Group welcome dinner 6:00 pm, Starlight Dining Room
  • Tuesday – (At sea) Session 1 – Job search techniques; session 2 – Resume review (individual appointments); Dinner topic A – Dress for success and business dining etiquette; optional personal wellness session
  • Wednesday – George Town, Grand Cayman, on your own
  • Thursday – Cienfuegos, Cuba – optional excursion with group
  • Friday – (At sea) Session 3 – Internships or LinkedIn (choose one); session 4 – Mock interviews (individual appointments); Dinner topic B – Conversation starters for extended interviews; Evening option – Networking in social settings
  • Saturday – Havana, Cuba – optional excursion with group; Dinner topic C – “What I know now!”
  • Sunday – Arrival in Miami, FL

You will cruise from MIAMI aboard Royal Caribbean’s Empress of the Seas – BEST OF CUBA.

Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF-US) (CCE-Approved Provider)

This course meets the GCDF competencies training requirement for the GCDF Credential under the auspices of the Center for Credentialing and Education. There is added emphasis to help customers find truly worthwhile employment. Each week a different competency will be the focus of instruction with the exception of technology which is embedded into numerous modules.

CCE is a Credentialing Body independent from NECA. The Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) is a not-for-profit organization that provides practitioners and organizations with assessments, business support services and credentialing.  CCE credentials more than 25,000 practitioners globally in a variety of fields.
